Delicious food! Frosted mugs are perfectly chilled, and their root beer is fantastic. Best root beer I have ever had! Their loose meat maid rites are stupendous! Their only draw back is they are pretty pricy, but they do have daily specials to counter that.
Went here for lunch today and the food was not good. I love the maid rite restaurants in the Quad Cities. This one is way different. They sandwhich was a bun soaked in grease with very little meat, it was disgusting to me. I guess some people like it that way but not me. The fries were little and plain. The service was also lacking. There was one wait or who was nice but over whelmed because it was busy.
Love that they have a separate fish dryer so my fries won't taste fishy. Nice place and good food...even have root beer floats...yum! One of our new family favorites.
They have the old fashion Maid Rites! Soooo good! And a great atmosphere.
50's & 60's theme with loose meat sandwiches that are fantastic! Great Root Beer in frosty glass mugs is awesome!
