The primary reasons for choosing Applebee's were location, convenience, and their diet menu. They filled these needs nicely.
I generally prefer smaller "mom and pop" places, but Applebee's was a great idea for our needs!

The Muscatine Applebee's was very busy on a Friday night when my wife and I had supper there. The food and service were both good.
Great food. Great service and depending on the bartender awesome drinks. Never had an issue getting a seat and always get my meal in under 20 minutes.
Not what I anticipated for an Applebee's. Serving staff were great. Meal took 25 minutes to serve and the presentation was poor. Tasted good, just didn't look good and a lot of the onion was burnt. They comped the food and made it right.
Friends pasta came out cold. They served my daughter burnt sliders and old stale French fries that had been sitting in the warmer long enough to dry them out. My Caesar salad was the only thing that came out done correctly.
